Between Quarterly Reports (Jan-Mar, Apr-June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec), Top 20 Albums of the Year, and More Essential Albums, I featured 100 different albums in 2023. Although I’m constantly scanning social media, streaming platforms, and the best heavy music sites, a lot of amazing albums still manage to slip through the cracks each year. A few of these were released in December, and fell victim to the end-of-year black hole, but others I just outright missed when they were released.
