Five songs into Stereophonic Freak out Vol.1, ‘Black Limousine Blues’ starts with the sounds of a radio dial switching between stations before landing on a DJ introducing the song. “And now though, I want to share the new tune from one of the heaviest, filthiest, evilist bands out of Argentina, The Black Furs…”, leading into one of the heaviest blues songs you’ll ever hear. And I can’t think of a more accurate way to describe this band and album. Massive riffs, a lo-fi haze over the vocals,  and scorching guitar solos make this one of the best heavy underground albums of 2019.
